Financial Life Planning has always been the spirit of the work I do with clients. Many have been invited to answer “Kinder’s Three Questions” over the years. In a weird, fortuitous result of the pandemic, I took the opportunity to dig deeper and spend time learning the formal process of financial life planning developed by George Kinder.

My use of the life planning process is getting attention in a news article, Advisors Get Creative to Spark Stimulating Client Conversations, in the print and online versions of Investor’s Business Daily.

So, yes, my process is a little different than what some people expect. And I’m so glad it’s being written about because it’s better. It is financial planning done right.

Your financial plan needs to start with your vision of a fulfilled life. The life planning process — including a couple of questions that make you ponder death coming sooner than expected — helps you remember and express what’s most important to you. Only after we have that clear vision can we get down to the numbers.

I invite you to engage, or re-engage, in this process. When you’re ready, I’m here with the tools to deliver your Life Plan. Most of all, I’m here to listen.
